My Photo

an epiphany...

  • One day seven years ago I found myself saying to myself– I can’t live where I want to... I can’t go where I want to go... I can’t do what I want to... I can’t even say what I want to... I decided I was a very stupid fool not to at least paint as I wanted to ~ Georgia O’Keeffe, 1923

I'm wondering how you are? You've been away so long.

Knock. Knock. Still missing you.

It is the little things isn't it? I've been so enjoying the fact that my new place of employment has organic milk and gourmet coffee for all the employees to enjoy. It is a small gesture of thanks and saves us $$ during this bare economic time ... it is the little things that wowed us as children isn't it? Thanks for reminding me :)

It was good to hear from you, sweet friend. I've missed you.

And happy Autumn to you, my dear friend! I didn't catch this post before I went away, so I am reminiscing now about the joys of summer as we head into my most favourite season of all! And I wonder how you are doing? I think a phone call is in order. There is so much I want to share with you.
I miss you so much. And I love you dearly.
hugs and kisses and hugs and kisses and hugs and kisses and hugs and kisses!!!

I had to stop by and tell you that your comment made me hum with happiness. Dizzy with pleasure like a bee drunk on nectar. Love you.

Oh, you wonderful you. You've captured summer perfectly, marvelously, gorgeously. Your words make me long for more. You make me want more and more of your life-filled descriptions.

I've missed you.

Oh I agree! Thank you, Relyn! It is indeed a beautiful place you have over here. My favorite Georgia O'keefe quote, glorious art and golden words.
I could get very used to it around here.

I can feel the warm summer breeze, and hear my puppy snoring lazily away...

Happy summer!
